Lenox was being used as stud under private treaty. In many cases he stamped his get with beautiful faces and expressions. I began thinking about who I could breed to Lenox. About that time Joyce Weinmann had a beautiful litter and, based on the photos I KNEW who I wanted! The minute I saw Lexi’s photo I called Joyce and claimed her! When they were about 3 months old I headed out to Brazil Indiana. It was a beautiful litter but decided I would let the ‘right’ puppy pick me!

I sat on the floor and the puppies devoured me. The puppies and I played as I checked each puppy one-by-one. But, one stayed by my side. That was Lexi – the pup I wanted all along! A couple of days later I brought her home with me.

From the instant Chyna opened her eyes she picked me and I was a-ok with that! Even if she didn’t pick me I would have picked her. I was hoping for a tri factored sable but it was love at first sight (for BOTH of us!!) with this beautiful pure for sable girl! I loved her spunk, her personality and everything about her!

Comex and Dexter were GORGEOUS puppies. In-fact, my first placement at the Collie Club of America National in 2009 (in Springfield MA) was Dexter placing in the 6-9 month puppy class (sable). I did not keep either of these handsome boys but they both went to fabulous homes where they were loved and cherished. At the time I had 2 males and a house full of girls and had to make hard decisions. In the end, both of these boys had G R E A T homes so it all worked out as it should!
